Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

Transcripts: Original or certified copies (attested to by the academic institution of issue) of transcripts or records that substantiate you have achieved academic standing equivalent to 12 years of elementary and high school education for post-secondary programs, or completion of a University degree in Business, Management, Technology, Engineering, Finance or other related programs with one-year post-graduation experience, or 3 years College Diploma with two years of post-graduation experience for postgraduate programs.

Purpose Letter: A 500-word letter of Intent on why you are interested in your desired area of study.

Other Admission requirements include:

Proof of English Language proficiency: For all applicants with the first language in another dialect other than English or language of instruction in their high school is different from English, proof of English Language Proficiency is required. An English test, such as TOEFL, PTE, and IELTS must be completed with expected grades as follow:

Domestic
Students

These category of students are those with Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizenship status. They do not require a visa to attend the College.

OCMT Welcome Session

Online Welcome Session is available to all new students. Each student will have five days (following their registration) to complete the ‘New Student Welcome Session.’

Don’t delay. Start your onboarding exercise as soon as your registration is completed by logging into the student portal with your student ID and assigned password.

The Information System department will assign a unique campus portal password and unique email address upon completing your admission process. This unique authentication will be used to log on to the College Intranet to access your “Welcome” Session. 

The welcome Session provides step-by-step instructions on how to acquaint yourself with the Campus and Community.

Log in to the student portal with your  ID and password to view information about your program, courses, grades, schedule, instructor notes, student support services, tuition receipts, career opportunities, and other campus-related information.

The following services are available to fully registered OCMT students:

Off-campus Residence

The College is able to coordinate off-campus accommodation for students who might require such assistance. However, students are responsible for any associated cost of accommodation with respective third party providers.
